It was not a good night to be at Citizens Bank Park if you were trying to indulge in some cheap hot dogs.
On Tuesday, the Philadelphia Phillies held their dollar dog night as the team took on the Miami Marlins in Citizens Bank Park, and things got crazy in the stands.
Multiple videos show fans in the stands engaging in a massive food fight by a sold-out crowd as part of the promotion of the night. Concession stands were wrapped around the concourse as people waited an impressive amount of time to get their hands on some prime-time weiners.
Once the weiners were handed out, fans decided not to eat some and instead share them in a brutal way by tossing them at others.

Aaron Nola gave up nine hits and four runs in 5⅔ innings. One player on the Marlins even hit for the cycle on this night. At least the fan base was able to witness history, even though it came from the opposing team.
The Phillies ended up losing, 8-4, and dropping their record to 4-7 on the year. The Phillies are in 4th place in the NL East.
