We are not yet done with what the offseason trades would end with; MLB stars are packing their lineups already. One of the first basemen of the Philadelphia Phillies imagined his MLB super lineup and did not shy away from hyping it up.
Bryce Harper had fans buzzing when he recently shared his vision for an MLB super team on social media. He had some of the biggest MLB stars on his list. The names included Aaron Judge from the New York Yankees, the incredibly talented Shohei Ohtani, and Ronald Acuna Jr. In a lively breakdown video, Harper expressed his excitement about this dream team that combines power, speed, and strategic prowess.
He laid out his ideal batting order while highlighting Trea Turner’s quick base running and Giancarlo Stanton’s monstrous home runs. In his video, he mentioned Acuna’s historic feats and praised Judge’s dominance as a powerhouse hitter. According to Harper, the combination of speed at the top of the order and raw power in the middle creates a formidable offensive threat. He even teased a few thoughts on how he might tweak the lineup, showcasing his competitive spirit.
Other than Harper’s personal picks, the Phillies are getting things right at their starting pitcher ranking. Philadelphia’s Zack Wheeler has officially been named the best starting pitcher in baseball for 2025, according to MLB Network’s rankings. Claiming the top spot for the first time in his career, Wheeler outperformed prominent competitors. He outran names, including 2024 Cy Young winners Chris Sale and Tarik Skubal.
Philadelphia Phillies Recently Made International Signing
The Philadelphia Phillies have taken an interesting step by signing Nieves Izaguirre, who happens to be a cousin of Atlanta Braves star Ronald Acuña Jr. While the Phillies may be unlikely to land Acuna himself, securing a family member is a clever move to tap into some of that baseball talent.

Reports indicate that the Phillies signed 15 players during their recent wave of international signings. A significant number hail from Venezuela, which has much to do with scouting in this rich baseball region.
Izaguirre got major attention for his impressive skill set, including a high baseball IQ and a short, compact swing. As scouts believe it could make him a valuable middle infielder, possibly settling at second base. With solid running and fielding grades, he embodies the type of prospect that could develop into a key player for the Phillies in the future. As they continue to build their roster with young talent, Izaguirre could be the perfect signing.
