If you’re not aware, McCovey Cove is the unofficial name of a section of San Francisco Bay beyond the right field wall of Oracle Park, home of the San Francisco Giants. It was named after legendary Giants first baseman Willie McCovey and made extremely famous by Barry Bonds, who would damn near hit a home run there every home game.
Not as many go that way these days, but fans still like to hang out and hope to get a chance to get a ball.
Such was the case on Saturday when a home run was hit into the water and a battle kicked off that included a Paddleboarder vs. kayaker.
