Juan Soto’s free agency has already taken an enormous leap in the MLB offseason. The New York Yankees will try to offer their star slugger an opportunity to stay, but several other teams are also in pursuit. The Dodgers and the Mets are among them, and many have yet to come forward.
While Soto’s trade rumors continue to swirl, MLB broadcaster Chris ‘Mad Dog’ Russo believes that the Baltimore Orioles are one of the secretive teams to be pursuing the Yankees star.
In a post by MLB Network, Russo said that the Orioles have a billion-dollar owner and acquiring Juan Soto will not be a challenge. Russo was referring to the team’s new owner, David Rubenstein. However, Orioles fans weren’t really happy with Russo’s claim.
Fans took to X to comment on Russo’s statement. Surprisingly, many were not in favor of Juan Soto coming to Baltimore. Here’s a look at some of the fan reactions.

Aaron Boone Hopes For Juan Soto To Remain With The Yankees
Yankees manager Aaron Boone was so pleased with Juan Soto’s performance that he wished for him to stay with the team forever. Following their World Series loss, Boone said that he had great admiration for Soto.
The 51-year-old further said that it was fun to get to know his family. While Boone is not sure about Soto remaining with the Yankees, he stated that he was excited to see what the future holds for him. Failing to sign Soto will put the Yanks in a vulnerable position next season.
As for the young slugger, he has enough teams to give him the best offers. Soto is believed to pick the best offer that will come his way. There are several teams that have already expressed their interest in Juan Soto’s trade.
