Fans rushing the field is a time honored tradition in just about every major sport. Maybe except basketball, there is a lot less room to work with on the hardwood, so it doesn’t really happen.
The Oakland Athletics are currently in a playoff push and hold a 2-game lead over Cleveland and Tampa Bay in the top AL Wild Card spot.
One fan clearly wanted to be part of the action during a recent game, so he came down from his seat and ran out onto the field. He not only ran past the players and security, he dodged one guy by scaling the outfield wall.
No word on if that guy was ultimately caught and arrested.
