Aaron Judge took to a miserable start at the World Series, as his regular season numbers were nowhere near. Judge led his team with 58 home runs during the regular season. While his postseason performance wasn’t too bad, Judge’s performance against the Dodgers drastically dropped.
Yankees fans are pretty frustrated with Judge’s performance, especially when he failed to deliver when they needed him the most. The slugger’s batting average had dropped below 100, and fans couldn’t help but react to the slumping performance.
Fox Sports MLB shared a post on X with an image of Judge and captioned it, “Aaron Judge’s batting average in the World Series has dropped to .091.”
Yankees fans were quick to react as they trolled their team’s captain openly. Here’s a look at some of the reactions on X.
“Bro saw it was October and turned into a pumpkin,” wrote one fan.

“He looks lost out there. You can have a bad batting avg over a couple games and still look like an MVP. This isn’t close to the case with Judge. He looks like a rookie trying to figure his swing out in a pointless spring training game,” another fan responded.
“My BAC is higher,” added one fan.
“Terrible,” wrote one fan.
“Overrated!” one fan chipped in.
“Maybe he is tired,” one fan wrote sarcastically.
“When we needed him most, he vanished,” one fan said.
“6”7 Aaron judge absolutely SHRUNK this post season. Some players step it up when it matters, others can’t handle the bright lights,” another fan replied.
“Pencil him into the three-hole for game 4,” one fan wrote.

“Designate him for assignment!” said one fan.
Aaron Judge And The New York Yankees On The Brink Of Elimination
The New York Yankees had a great ride through the 2024 season. They had a promising season, from clinching the division title to winning the ALCS. However, they were just not good enough to defeat the Dodgers.
Aaron Judge and his team dropped their first three games as the Dodgers proved to be better. Judge’s struggle was persistent, and it never seemed to get any better. Aaron Boone will have one last chance as Luis Gil gets the ball in Game 4.
