They say you have to see the dream before you can achieve it. The New York Mets are trying to do just that.
On Wednesday, footage surfaced showing the New York Mets simulated winning the World Series at spring training. An outfielder jumped over the fence to catch a fly ball that represented the final out of Game 7.
Players then simulated a celebration on the mound.
The Mets have not won the World Series since 1986. The team last appeared in the World Series in 2015.
The team needs to focus more on actually getting to the playoffs, something the franchise has only done three times since 2001.
