24 hours ago, Mets first baseman Pete Alonso won National League Rookie of the Year, but the good times were just beginning for the Mets.
On Wednesday, his teammate Jacob deGrom took home his second straight NL Cy Young Award, and Alonso was right there on social media to congratulate him.
A troll on Twitter decided this was the perfect opportunity throw some salt on the congratulatory tweet by talking about Alonso’s weight.
That was a bad move.
Alsonso ruined him with his response.
