However, a fan decided to grab Betts’ glove with both hands and pulled the ball out.
Another fan grabbed Betts’ non-glove hand.
Both of the Yankees fans involved in the incident with Mookie Betts were ejected.
In the stands of Yankee Stadium was a video from above showing the moment that security came down and ejected those two fans.

Mookie Betts Speaks On Yankees Fans Interfering with Catch
Two Yankees fans were ejected from Game 4 of the World Series after prying a foul ball out of the glove of Dodgers right fielder Mookie Betts.
In the wild scene captured on camera, one of the fans was seen grabbing Betts’ wrist while clawing for the ball.
The eight-time MLB All-Star was visibly upset but eventually cooled off after the Dodgers’ 11-4 loss.
He spoke about the moment after the game.
“When it comes to the person in play, it doesn’t matter,” Betts said after the Dodgers couldn’t complete a sweep of the Yankees. “We lost. It’s irrelevant. I’m fine. He’s fine. Everything’s cool. We lost the game, and that’s what I’m kind of focused on. We got to turn the page and get ready for tomorrow.”
The Dodgers had a two-run lead over the Yankees at the time after Freddie Freeman’s two-run homer.
That moment seemingly changed the tide of the game and, quite possibly, the series.
