Madison Aranda wanted a memorable moment in her young life, and she got one when she decided to run out on the field and hug Cody Bellinger on Monday. She got her hug, but she also got arrested.
On Thursday, the mugshot of the 18-year-old was released:
She was sad then, but she definitely wasn’t sad when she did this.
Madison’s run out on the field would mark the second such time in just a few short days that a female fan would take to the field just to hug Cody Bellinger.

“I love baseball, especially Dodger baseball. And I love Cody Bellinger,” said Aranda, via azfamily.com. “He’s just one of my favorites and he’s like a rookie and he’s been doing so great and he’s just super handsome.”
She continues to say that “at some point I didn’t believe to get like arrested as in like thrown in jail, but I did know that I figured I was just going to get like charged to pay money.”
She seemed to get a wake up call from her night in jail.
“I was there for over 12 hours, I probably only got like a good 20 minutes of sleep and you know, I just feel like I wasn’t the type of person that belonged in jail,” Aranda said. “I definitely won’t do that again and I feel like I’ve served my time in a way because it’s super hard…”
Maybe she should stick to playing volleyball where it’s safe.
