More Disturbing Details Emerge of David Ortiz Being Shot In The Dominican Republic

Longtime Boston Red Sox star David Ortiz was shot in a burglary attempt in the Dominican Republic, as @dsoldevila reported. Ortiz’s father told @Enrique_Rojas1 that the 43-year-old is headed to the hospital. A @CDN37 report says Ortiz suffered the gunshot wound in the leg.

– Happened at a club in East Santo Domingo
– It was not a robbery
– He was shot in the back came out through the stomach

I just spoke to @dSoldevila who is at the clinic where David Ortiz is currently being treated. Dionisio said me that the attending doctor told him that David was shot in the lower back and the bullet went through and through; he’s currently in surgery.

Another report coming directly from the Dominican Republic hospital is that David Ortiz was shot on his LOWER BACK and the bullet went thru his abdomen, he lost a lot of blood and is having surgery at the moment.
