Teoscar Hernandez is fresh off a World Series victory and he has hit the free agent market. Hernandez had an incredible 2024 season for the Los Angeles Dodgers. The outfielder played a crucial role in helping the team win the World Series.
Hernandez received a qualifying offer from the Dodgers but declined it, hoping to find better options. Hernandez initially said that he was interested in signing with the Dodgers. However, the slugger knows his value, as several teams are already behind him.
While the competition for Hernandez is getting hot, MLB insider Bob Nightengale believes that the Dodgers would bring him back. Nightengale believes that the Dodgers are playing it cool and will out beat the teams that provide Hernandez with an offer.
“They are probably letting him look around and saying, ‘if someone blows us out of the water, fine.’ Usually the Dodgers set a mark. Okay, if you’re willing to sign for this we will do it, otherwise we will turn our attention somewhere else,” Nightengale said.
The insider feels that Hernandez has a strong bond in LA. His postseason performance and chemistry with the team will bring him back.
“I think Teoscar Hernandez comes back. “He loved playing for the Dodgers. You saw it during the postseason, during the parade, everybody raved about what a great teammate he was,” Nightengale continued.

Teoscar Hernandez Gathers Interest From Orioles And Former Team
Teoscar Hernandez has a history with the Toronto Blue Jays, his former team. The Blue Jays need to fix some of their offensive loopholes. Hernandez could be the right person to pick up the pace. Hernandez has already played for the Blue Jays, and he’s aware of how they function.
The Baltimore Orioles are also believed to be pursuing the slugger. The O’s have a strong offensive lineup. Adding Hernandez to the team will make them a stronger opponent in the AL East.
However, the Orioles must beat the other teams that are already showing interest in signing the 2024 Home Run Derby Winner. Teoscar Hernandez has a large market and is likely to sign with a team this winter.
