A Chicago Cubs prospect just lost his opportunity of a lifetime following his actions against an umpire.
Over the weekend, an unknown player that is said to be a Chicago Cubs prospect attacked an umpire with his bat after he was ejected from the game. MLB Insider Hector Gomez called for him to be banned for life and arrested for attempted murder.
Translated: “This man must be expelled for life from all sports and recreational activities and, at the same time, must be brought to justice for attempted murder.”
Translated: “We were informed that the attacker had been signed to professionalism by the Chicago Cubs and that as a result of his misconduct, he was discharged by that organization.”
