The New York Yankees are clearly over Juan Soto as they look to bolster their rotation with the remaining free agents left of the market. While missing out on Soto was upsetting for several Yankee fans, many think that it happened for the best.
The Bronx Bombers are all out to bolster their pitching rotation, and they took one step closer by adding Max Fried. It’s a great deal for the Yanks since they need someone more reliable alongside Gerrit Cole, Luis Gil, and Carlos Rodon. Things did not go well with Nestor Cortes Jr. and Marcus Stroman.
Despite their addiction, MLB fans feel that the Yankees will still be unable to beat the Los Angeles Dodgers. Fans took to social media to share their thoughts on the Yankees signing Max Fried.

New York Yankees Create History With Max Fried’s Eight-Year Deal
Max Fried became the highest-paid Jewish player to sign a $218 million eight-year deal. The Yankees need a pitcher like Fried to help them in the postseason. The southpaw is undoubtedly a great addition to the team.
The Yankees will have an edge with another left-handed pitcher. However, they have gone a long way by adding eight years to a 30-year-old pitcher. Fried has proved to be an exceptional pitcher with his consistency, which the Yankees desperately need.
Fried finished his 2024 season with a strong 3.25 ERA and an 11-10 record. The southpaw won a World Series title with the Atlanta Braves and holds a career ERA of 3.07. Apart from Fried, the Yanks are expected to add a few sluggers to the team.
