Wander Franco is awaiting trial for sexual abuse, and the MLB has granted him indefinite administrative leave until then. On Monday, things went worse for Franco after he was arrested for his involvement in an arms altercation. Authorities arrested Franco, another man, and a woman in the Dominican Republic.
It turns out that Franco, along with the detained man and woman, was arguing in the parking lot. Multiple parties drew guns, and a couple of firearms were seized. The police suspect that one of the guns belongs to Franco.

Wander Franco’s Sexual Abuse Trail To Begin In December
Wander Franco’s sexual abuse trial is all set to begin on December 12. Franco is unable to leave the country due to his sexual exploitation case against him. Franco’s trial will take place in the Dominican Republic.
The shortstop will also face charges against a minor and human trafficking. Franco could be behind bars for the next 20 years if proven guilty. Moreover, his MLB career will be put to an end. Around three or five judges are expected to hear Franco’s case.
The MLB has placed Franco on the restricted list. The league has also launched an investigation under the child abuse, domestic violence, and sexual assault policy. The Tampa Bay Rays offered Franco $182 million for 11 years.
