Mets Stars React To Pete Alonso’s Reunion
Alonso’s teammates took to social media to share their thoughts on his reunion with the team. Starling Marte, Mark Vientos, and Kodai Senga shared an image of a bear face and wrote “Polar Bear” on their Instagram stories.
The Toronto Blue Jays were on the list to sign Alonso, but the Mets got the upper hand. Alonso and the Mets have a deep chemistry for a long time. It makes sense for the slugger to get back in Queens. As many experts predicted, the Mets and Pete Alonso wanted this deal.
Now that Alonso is off the market, Scott Boras will shift his focus to Alex Bregman, who is still waiting to find a team. The Red Sox are one of the favorites that are predicted to sign Bregman.
