The MLB offseason has taken a surprising turn, with several free agents siding with the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Dodgers have played it smart by using their deferred payment option. They signed top sluggers, pitchers, and free agents and brought back star players to their team.
Additionally, they got a hold of international agent Roki Sasaki. Many fans and insiders are unhappy that they get what they want. Some were even furious when the Dodgers signed Sasaki and Tanner Scott. Yet, a few hardcore fans, like Justin Verlander’s brother Ben, have been in constant support of the team.
Ben took to social media to offer support for the Boys in Blue. “Instead of being mad at the Dodgers, be mad at every other team,” Ben wrote. The MLB analyst received a lot of backlash when he offered his support for the team. It’s not the first time Ben has provided his support. Since he’s a huge fan of Shohei Ohtani, Ben had always supported the Dodgers.
Instead of being mad at the Dodgers be mad at every other team for sitting on their heels and allowing this to happen.

Teams cry cheap but won’t ever open up the books to show how much they’re truly making.
That’s the problem here.
Here’s a look at some fan reactions from X.
“I think you got some of Ohtani still left on your chin,” wrote one fan.

Oh okay, will do. Your opinion is your opinion and I cannot argue. With that said I believe your opinion stinks and will not agree with you

Instead of being a simp for the Dodgers, try reality. MLB leadership is the problem- imagine if the NBA allowed this.

Agree 💯 for signings now but if I owned a business no chance in hell I would defer 1.4 Billion Dollars unless I was going to sell the team and let the new owners pay it. That’s just insanity

MLB Insiders Hope For The League To Launch An Investigation
Some insiders and fans are unhappy that the Dodgers got most of the star players. It all started out with Blake Snell, but many never anticipated Sasaki and Scott would join the team. Some insiders are hoping that the league will launch an investigation.
Jim Bowden hopes the league will launch an investigation after Sasaki’s signing. He further said that the Dodgers will face the remaining 29 teams.
“You brought back all the guys you needed to, including Teoscar Hernández. You added Michael Conforto to give you a little better outfield depth. Then you add three impact pitchers a Cy Young candidate in Snell, a future Cy Young candidate in Roki Sasaki, and arguably the best left-hander closer in the sport. The rich get richer,” Bowden said via SI.com.
The Dodgers have everything clear from their end, and as some say, other teams should probably try their approach. Yet, this could be hard for small market teams. The MLB had already investigated Sasaki’s signing and found no wrongdoing with the Dodgers.
