Minnesota Twins’ pitching prospect Cory Lewis has left fans amazed with his slow-motion knuckleball pitch. As he throws away from the camera, the ball doesn’t spin, but slowly levitates to the catcher in an amazing visual.
Fans have taken notice of the amazing shot of Lewis’ pitch, as they note the beauty of the pitch itself as well as the rarity of the knuckleball in today’s game.

Lewis, 22 is currently pitching or the Cedar Rapids Kernels after being drafted in the 9th round by the Twins. Lewis, who has used the knuckleball his entire life, says coaches are okay with the pitch, though there aren’t a lot of users anymore. Whether this can translate to Lewis rising to through the ranks has remained to be seen.
The Twins are currently leading the putrid American League Central Division with a 69-63 record, where they look to make noise in the postseason. Though the team is leading, there is certainly a lack of talent that needs to be addressed for the club.
Lewis has shown his knuckleball in practice and currently has an 8-4 starting record in the minors. Let’s hope he can be called up.
