Mike Trout hit a home run out of the park against the Toronto Blue Jays that went so far that it acually hit an elementary school.
Trout went yard in the fifth inning, sending Ross Striplings’s fastball 444 feet back to school.
Just in case you’re wondering, there is elementary school outside of the Blue Jays training facility where Thursday’s game was held.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic has complicated travel between the United States and Canada, the franchise opted to open the season playing their home games at TD Ballpark.
The home run helped the team win the game, 7-5.
