Michele Tafoya has heard enough about Shohei Ohtani.
The former longtime NFL Sunday Night Football sideline reporter is no longer employed in the sports world, so she is free to express herself as she sees fit.
Tafoya, who left NBC following the Super Bowl, has since taken her talents to the political world, but that doesn’t mean she is done talking about sports.
Tafoya had sports fans up in arms over the weekend when she tweeted about Los Angeles Angels superstar Shohei Ohtani.
Apparently, the former NBC reporter is fed up with the Ohtani hype.
“@Angels broadcast… Enough with the @Ohtani baseball chatter!!!” she tweeted.

As expected, social media let her hear about it:
After receiving backlash, Michele Tafoya tried to clarify her original tweet.
“We were laughing because they did not stop talking about this baseball and how someone brought it to their booth, and people taking pictures of it, and on and on and on and on and on,” she explained to the NY Post.
Over the weekend, the Los Angeles Angels star connected for his 100th career MLB homer and became just the second player in MLB history with at least 100 homers as a hitter and at least 250 strikeouts as a pitcher, joining all-time great Babe Ruth.
The reigning American League MVP is backing up his standout 2021 campaign with another strong start to this season, and he has helped lead the Angels to an impressive 22-13 start entering the second game of the doubleheader in Oakland.
