On Thursday, Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez confirmed they had ended their relationship, telling the “Today” show in a joint statement that they were over just weeks after reconciling.
“We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so,” the statement said. “We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and each other’s children.”
Rodriguez popped the question in March of 2019 after two years of dating, but they hit a rough patch when cheating rumors swirled earlier this year.
The rumors said that Rodriguez cheated with Madison LeCroy after her Southern Charm co-star claimed at the reunion that she “flew to Miami to fuck” an unnamed married former MLB player. Madison denied that her relationship with Rodriguez was romantic, saying, “He contacted me. And yes, we DMed,” “But other than that, there was nothing. I’ve never physically seen him, touched him. I am not a f—king liar and I will stand up for that.”
After being accused of having an affair with the retired baseball star earlier this year, Southern Charms star Madison LeCroy reacted to the news of the two separating.
“Madison LeCroy wishes the best for Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez in their breakup.
The “Southern Charm” star told Page Six on Thursday when we reached out about A-Rod and J.Lo announcing their split: “I wish them the best.”
It was perhaps the perfect send-off to the celebrity exes from LeCroy, after she’d been entangled in rumors that she had a relationship with Rodriguez.”
