Jack Flaherty is still a free agent waiting to be on a team. Despite his World Series appearance with the Los Angeles Dodgers, things are not moving in favor of the pitcher. Flaherty’s 2024 stint had mixed reactions as he wasn’t up to the mark.
Several free-agent pitchers were given priority over Flaherty as they managed to sign with a team. Flaherty is sure to find a home in 2025, but not many teams have shown interest in the starter. The Dodgers acquired Flaherty towards the end of the season. However, they have not shown any interest in bringing him back.
The Dodgers have signed several players this offseason on deferred payments, which has raised several questions. Many feel they were ruining baseball by acquiring all the players. However, Jack Flaherty does not feel the same. Flaherty took to social media to share a message in support of the Dodgers.
“A certain team is not ruining baseball. A lot of other teams are just doing very little,” Flaherty wrote.

Jack Flaherty Eyes Reunion With The Dodgers
He might not have said it out loud, but it’s evident that Flaherty wants a reunion with the Dodgers. Almost every player wants to be on the Dodgers squad, especially now that they are considered a super team.
Flaherty’s stint in Dodger Blue was limited. Yet, he seemed to have enjoyed his time playing with top sluggers in the league. Now that the Dodgers have several other stars in their starting rotation, Jack Flaherty’s reunion is questionable.
The Dodgers might not consider acquiring Flaherty since they have Roki Sasaki and Shohei Ohtani ready to pitch soon. Like Flaherty, Clayton Kershaw is waiting for the Dodgers to offer him a contract.
