The Miami Marlins are a proverbial dumpster fire organization and the fans know it.
During the home opener for the franchise, the announced attendance for the Marlins was 25,423 for a Marlins Park that holds 37,000. Not bad, but absolutely terrible that a team couldn’t sellout for the first game of the season.
On Friday, it got so much worse when the Marlins attendance for the game against the Colorado Rockies was announced at 6,503. That seemed really generous because the pictures produced from that game showed a whole lot less.
