Fans on social media noticed something very interesting about Jose Altuve’s reaction to his game-winning home run against the Texas Rangers on Friday night.
Altuve’s Houston Astros were trailing Texas 4-2 in the top of the ninth inning in game of the ALCS. But in typical Altuve fashion, he showed no fear and crushed José Leclerc’s delivery over the left field wall for a three-run homer.
Houston’s bullpen shut the door on the Rangers’ bats in the bottom half of the ninth. The Astros now lead the series 3-2 and are just one victory away from their fifth World Series appearance in seven years.
Baseball fans noticed that Altuve had a very casual reaction to his game-winning homer, pointing out that this is now just a routine for him.

Even if you take out the Astros’ 2017 sign-stealing scandal that propelled them to the franchise’s first World Series title, this much is undeniable: The Astros are playing in their sixth straight ALCS since 2017, and they’re on the verge of their fourth World Series appearance in five years.
The Astros redeemed themselves by winning a clean World Series over the Philadelphia Phillies last year. If they win Game 6, they’ll be off to their third consecutive World Series. And if they manage to win the Commissioner’s Trophy, the Astros will have been the first repeat champion since the 1999 and 2000 New York Yankees.
