Jim Edmonds personal life continues to trend downwards.
Last week it was reported by Us Weekly that Meghan King Edmonds and Jim Edmonds had split after five years of marriage, with sources telling them that she accused Jim of cheating with one of their four nannies, whom she would identify as Carly Wilson.
The former baseball player turned sportscaster recently spoke out on Instagram and denied all allegations.
It reads as, ** BREAKING NEWS ** It’s one thing to be accused of something. It’s another thing to be so negligent and so careless, and ruin the lives of innocent young people.. I did not sleep with our nanny. She’s not just a nanny, she is someone that we brought into our house and promised to protect and look after while she was in our home. We have been treating and raising this young girl like she is our own child! For someone to accuse me of sleeping with her is not only wrong, it’s disgusting and irresponsible. Just because I am an athlete and I was portrayed as a bad person on bravo TV. Doesn’t mean I don’t have a clue what life is all about.”
Even the former nanny had to speak out amid allegations that she had an affair with the retired baseball player, posting a picture that read “be kind” as addressed the many rumors in the post.
“In the past week, allegations have been made about me which are not based in fact. I have not and never would participate in any action involving infidelity. I consider this a private matter in someone else’s marriage and will not comment on it further. I wish the entire family well.”

The former St. Louis Cardinals player has been going through hell ever since news broke that he sent inappropriate text messages to a woman while Meghan was pregnant with the pair’s 16-month-old twin sons back in June.
Jim may need to be by himself for awhile until he realizes what he really wants, but it does not look like his wife will be by his side any longer.
