The St. Louis Cardinals are keen on trading Nolan Arenado and a number of teams are already behind the slugger. Arenado is a veteran who had a decent 2024 season. The Cardinals want to change things up by trading Arenado.
The team’s president of baseball operations, John Mozeliak, agreed that Arenado is on the trading block to bolster the team’s lineup for 2025. The Cardinals will probably send Nolan Arenado to the best bidder, but the team’s insider believes that Arenado to the Dodgers will be the perfect fit.
According to John Denton, Arenado will wear Dodger Blue as his next uniform. Denton explores the strong possibility of Arenado joining the Dodgers. One of the primary reasons being Orange County.
“We’ve all known forever that Nolan has dreamed of being a Dodger. He wants to be back in Southern California. He’s a surfer dude at heart. Orange County is his home. The minute the season’s over, he heads back to Orange County,” Denton said via the Dodgers Nation.

Adding Arenado is far from possible. Furthermore, YES Network’s Jack Curry said that Nolan Arenado is a complicated fit for the team. Arenado would be a good defensive fit for the Yanks, but his offensive numbers have declined in 2024.
The Yankees have already made significant changes to the team and would not want to risk adding another veteran slugger. Moreover, the Yanks have not shown interest in adding Anthony Rizzo.
The Dodgers, on the other hand, make more sense for Arenado. The Dodgers could sign Arenado to a short-term deal, and they might get creative with their deferred payouts. Arenado would also love to be a part of the reigning World Series Champions.
