The St. Louis Cardinals have only played in five total games during the 2020 season as 18 consecutive games have been postponed due to their coronavirus outbreak.
MLB said Sunday night that the league and the Cardinals “believe it is prudent to conduct additional testing while players and staff are quarantined before the team returns to play.” The Cardinals learned Sunday of a 10th player, outfielder Lane Thomas, with a confirmed positive for COVID-19, bringing the team’s total to 17 positive tests.
In the meantime, Jack Flaherty appears to not be taking his quarantine and isolation seriously as he seemingly got exposed for flying a woman out to see him.
