The Houston Astros have some of the most passionate fans in baseball, just like any other team. It’s common for MLB fans to lash out at players if they talk bad about their team. That’s exactly what happened with Joc Pederson after his press conference.
Pederson signed a two-year contract worth $37 million. His deal includes a player opt-out after one year and a mutual option for 2027. Pederson is happy to be on the Rangers roster and has predicted that the Rangers will dominate the AL West.
However, he called out the Astros, saying that their little run has come to an end. Fans in Houston never hesitated to fire back at Pederson for his words.

Houston Astros Sign Relief Pitcher Miguel Castro To Bolster Their Bullpen
Miguel Castro will be on his way to Houston as their new relief pitcher. Castro had limited appearances in 2024 due to his shoulder inflammation. Houston needs some extra power in the bullpen, and Castro is a decent fit for the team.
The franchise had made several moves this offseason. They traded Kyle Tucker to the Chicago Cubs and brought in Christian Walker. However, they have not progressed with Alex Bregman. The Astros might not be in the market for Bregman due to his asking price.
The team had several issues with its pitching rotation, and it hopes to turn things around in 2025. Apart from Castro, MLB rumors continue to swirl, as Anthony Santander is expected to sign with a team soon.
