It’s pretty much a foregone conclusion that when a manager goes off on an umpire, bad words are certainly being said during the exchange.
Rarely do we ever get to hear what is being said, but it would be nice if players, managers, and umpire’s were all mic’d up.
That changed somewhat on Thursday.
During the Yankees’ game against the Rays, manager Aaron Boone was pissed off about the balls-and-strikes calls of home plate umpire Brennan Miller. He let him hear about it, and because of a hot mic that was near, we heard it as well.
