There has been a lot of misinformation from the entire David Ortiz case after he was senselessly shot in the back at The Dial Bar and Lounge in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
A guy who was part of the alleged hit was captured by locals and beaten to a pulp before police got to him and eventually arrested him.
Eddy Feliz Garcia suffered a cranium contusion and trauma to his thorax, left knee and right leg. It turns out he wasn’t actually the shooter, but more so the get away driver who didn’t get away.
The shooter was still on the run….until Tuesday.
The alleged shooter was eventually caught after an extensive search and his photo was plastered for all to see.

As far as Ortiz, he is expected to make a full recovery after doctors were forced to remove part of Ortiz’s intestines and colon, as well as his gallbladder.
He has since been flown to Boston and is said to be “resting comfortably.”
