This is just brutal.
In a season with little-to-no expectations for the San Francisco Giants, veteran starting pitcher Johnny Cueto had a chance to deliver a night to remember with his latest outing.
Holding a no-hitter in the sixth inning, Cueto got Dodgers utility man Kiké Hernández to pop out for what should have been a routine out.
However, no routine fly ball is routine when the outfielder has zero clue where the ball is headed.
That play got even worse when Cueto would be forced to leave the game in the same inning after allowing a three-run homer to Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner.
