No state has more celebrities and athletes get robbed than California. That trend continued over the last month.
Los Angeles Dodgers players’ Freddie Freeman and Max Muncy have both had their LA-area homes broken into this season, according to a report from TMZ Sports.
Muncy was with his family driving home after a game at Dodger Stadium earlier this month when his alarm company alerted him that at least two burglars had broken into his home. By the time cops got there, the intruders had made their escape.
It’s not clear what was taken from the Muncy household, per the report.
Law enforcement also told TMZ that Freeman’s LA home was burglarized. Police said that they were investigating both matters to see if there was a connection between burglars targeting athletes.
Both Freeman and Muncy are in the midst of a good season with the Dodgers, who have won 11 of their last 12 games. They have a comfortable lead in the NL West and are well on their way to the postseason.
33-year-old Freeman is hitting .333/.411/.575 with 23 homers.
