Before the banging of trash cans came into the fold during the 2017 season, there were accusations from the New York Yankess in the ALCS that accused the Houston Astros of stealing signs and relaying them to hitters by whistling.
This video is from Game 2 of the ALCS this year in Houston and appears to show somebody whistling extremely loudly.
To be fair, there are thousands of people in the crowd and that whistle might be coming from anywhere. But, given the recent cheating allegations, you have to consider it as evidence against the Astros.
Astros manager AJ Hinch said at the time of the whistling allegations that the reports made him laugh.
The Astros are investigating the reports in conjunction with MLB.
