Fernando Tatis Jr. is certainly going to get heckled all year over what he was suspended for last year.
The San Diego Padres star will likely receive a fair amount of jeers from opposing fans, as he travels around the country, after making his return to Major League Baseball and completing his 80-game suspension for his use of performance-enhancing drugs.
He got his first taste of it this week from Chicago Cubs fans.
Tatis played his first game at Wrigley Field since returning from suspension, where he received no love from the Friendly Confines.
With Tatis playing right field on Tuesday, Chicago Cubs fans started a ‘He’s on steroids’ chant in the bleachers in the bottom of the fifth inning.
Instead of being mad about it, Tatis could be seen dancing.

Prior to his return, Tatis had been playing in minor league games.
The Padres were shut out by the Cubs on Tuesday, 6-0, in their first matchup of a three-game series. San Diego is currently third in the NL West standings at 12-13.
Tatis will be around for quite some time. He signed a 14-year, $330 million extension with the Padres in 2021. The franchise is hoping for more playoff success in the future and just maybe a chance at winning a World Series.
