Bonds is the MLB’s all-time home run leader with 762 while Rodriguez is fifth on the list with 696.
The former was knocked off the Hall of Fame ballot in 2022 and, in 10 years on said ballot, could not get the 75 percent voting required for enshrinement. Bonds is considered one of the greatest-ever baseball players and is a seven-time league MVP but the links to performance-enhancing drugs will never go away.
As for Rodriguez, he was suspended for the whole 2014 season after testing positive for PEDs. He never even got close to enshrinement, hauling just 37.5 percent of the voting.
He’s now a part owner of the Timberwolves while Bonds is a Dubs fan.
