Major League Baseball fans likely thought this day would ever come when players would began openly kneeling during the National Anthem.
On Monday night, several San Francisco Giants players and coaches that included the likes manager Gabe Kapler, Jaylin Davis, coach Antoan Richardson, Austin Slater and Mike Yastrzemski decided to take a knee during the playing of the Anthem and that moment was sent out by Major League Baseball’s official Twitter account.
As expected, fans began to rage and soon the hashtag Boycott MLB was trending on the social media site. Check out some of the reactions:
