Attendance is a never-ending issue for the Miami Marlins MLB franchise, but they just might have found a bit of a solution to the dilemma.
According to ESPN’s 2023 MLB attendance figures, the Marlins averaged only 14,355 fans per home game. They had approximately 1.162 million fans attend their 2023 regular season games, the second-worst total behind only the Las Vegas-bound Oakland Athletics (10,275 fans per game, 832,352 total spectators for the season).
Well, the Miami Marlins should expect a considerable jump in attendance this year, regardless of how the ballclub performs on the field. That is, of course, if locals are willing to take advantage of a basement bargin deal that the club’s offering for 2023.
On Wednesday, eight days before their season opener against the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Miami Marlins announced special “all-you-can-eat” seats for just $52.
So, what can you get limitless quantities of for the low price of $52? non-alcoholic drinks, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, chili dogs, nachos with cheese, cookies, peanuts, chili nachos, popcorn, water and soda. The deal will run through the seventh inning of each game.

Miami Marlins Aim To Accomplish Franchise First In 2024
The Miami Marlins have only made the postseason four times since their inception in 1993: In 1997, 2003, 2020 and 2023. They won the World Series in 1997 and 2003 before enduring a 17-year drought for their next postseason appearance.
Miami lost to Atlanta in the 2020 NLDS after upsetting the Cubs in the NL Wild Card Series. They barely squeaked into the 2023 postseason with an 84-78 record, only to be swept by Bryce Harper’s Phillies in the Wild Card Series.
If the Marlins can get back into the postseason this year, it’ll mark the first time in franchise history where they reached the playoffs in consecutive years. We’ll see in the coming months if they can accomplish this feat for the first time ever.
