The Houston Astros have all the talent in the world to get back to the World Series this upcoming season, but who knows if they will all be mentally into the baseball game as they have to deal with constant heckling and possibly getting beaned with pitches due to their sign-stealing scandal that has rocked Major League Baseball.
The players have been trying to drown out the noise, but it gets to the point where they can’t ignore everything.
During Sunday’s Grapefruit League game against the St. Louis Cardinals — Jose Altuve was in the on-deck circle waiting to bat when a fan started yelling for him to give Aaron Judge his MVP back.
Altuve could be seen looking back at him while another fan yelled for the guy to be quiet.
“They cheated. It didn’t sit well with me, and I just didn’t feel like the post that I did really meant the same anymore,” Judge said at Yankees spring training when asked about deleting a congratulatory tweet to Altuve.
81 road games are going to be quite brutal for this club.
