Most of the fans at Coors Field seem to be enjoying tonight’s MLB Home Run Derby (even if Shohei Ohtani only lasted one round). But one fan in particular was having a little too much fun. And he ended up taking things overboard, quite literally.
During Joey Gallo’s first round at bat, ESPN cameras caught one fan reaching for a ball in the outfield before flipping over a railing and landing on the concrete floor. Needless to say, he was probably regretting his decision to risk it all for a baseball.
Yikes! That’s embarrassing. Hopefully the dude is okay. He’s definitely going to be feeling it tomorrow.
