In a video interview with TMZ Sports, former MLB player Aubrey Huff suggested that all players on the Houston Astros should “wear bulletproof vests” up to the plate all year long” because they’re going to “pay the piper” by getting “drilled” by pitchers.
All of this anger not only stems from their cheating in 2017 that led to them winning the World Series, but because MLB commissioner Rob Manfred granted them all immunity and did not suspend a single player.
“Listen, you pay the piper. You reap what you sow. If you’re going to go out there and cheat, you’re going to get drilled. You know, they were in the wrong and there’s going to be some guys getting drilled this year, no doubt about it.”
Huff is confident that multiple pitchers around the league will take justice in their own hands.
“When you start using technology to cheat, that’s when you cross the line and people are going to get hurt.”
