The 2018 World Series champion Boston Red Sox visited the White House on Thursday to meet with President Trump, although there were several star players as well as the team’s manager, Alex Cora, who were absent.
Members of the team and owners gathered behind Trump on the White House South Lawn as he congratulated the team on its 108-win season and World Series win.
In the midst of congratulating, Trump accidentally roasted Steve Pearce.
The World Series MVP & 1st baseman is actually doing pretty terrible to start the season.
