Fights at sporting events seem to be on the rise as of late, and that’s especially true where the Los Angeles Dodgers are concerned.
There have been a few incidents around the MLB team’s stadium in recent times. And in the latest one, which took place on Tuesday night, someone recorded a Dodgers fan hitting the ground like a sack of potatoes as he found himself knocked out cold.
The fight started a few minutes after the Dodgers lost to the Minnesota Twins on the night, with multiple fans getting into a verbal spat before things got ugly.
As you’ll see in this video, two men ended up pushing each other before they started swinging. At one point, one wearing a Clayton Kershaw jersey ran toward a man in a blue Dodgers shirt and was left unconscious as his head appeared to hit the ground pretty hard.
A witness told KTLA that security guards got things under control, but he is not sure what started the melee.
“I honestly don’t know what started it,” he said. “You could tell some of them were drunk … and some of them were almost drunk.”

This isn’t the first time something like this has happened outside Dodger Stadium. A Dodgers fan and a supporter of the opposing Giants got into a heated row in what looks to be the same spot last May.
Scenes like this are popping up across the country, from both inside and outside of sports venues this year. It’s just not something we want to keep seeing.
