Dustin May can be quite disgusting when throwing pitches and he proved that in his latest start this week.
The Los Angeles Dodgers right-hander was so nasty in his start against the Arizona Diamondbacks that fans had to do a double take on the type of pitches he was shelling out against the competition.
The below video shows May unleashing a 100-mph sinker that had some insane movement as the pitch hit the bottom of the strike zone.
Poor Lourdes Gurriel Jr. certainly had zero chance of ever touching that ball as he stood there in disbelief.

The Dodgers offense provided plenty of support for the right-hander in a 5-2 win over the Diamondbacks on Thursday night at Chase Field in Phoenix. May kept Arizona off the board through five innings, and retired nine straight batters before a four-pitch walk allowed Josh Rojas to rip a double for May’s first run allowed in 2023.
May would get through the inning without any further damage. He struck out five on the night, throwing 83 pitches.
Dodgers starting pitchers have lasted at least six innings in six of seven games, with a 1.76 ERA in 41 innings. That is solid for a team that won a record number of games last year but faltered when they got into the playoffs.
The Dodgers are now 5-2 on the young 2023 season and still in first place in the National League West.
