A disturbing video has emerged of a gutless New York Yankees fan knocking out a Philadelphia Phillies supporter with an unnecessary cheap shot outside of Citizens Bank Park on Tuesday night.
The New York Yankees visited the NL-leading Philadelphia Phillies for a three-game set that began on Monday. After taking the first game on Monday, the Pinstripes continued the momentum with a thrilling 7-6 win in extra innings.
At some point on Tuesday night (it’s unknown if it was during or after the game), a tense confrontation occurred outside the ballpark between a Yankees fan and a Phillies supporter.
WorldStar posted a video of the incident, which shows a fan in an Aaron Judge New York Yankees’ jersey getting into the Philly fan’s face. The man in the Judge jersey appears to dare the Phillies supporter to hit him in the face, only for the man in the Pinstripes to knock him out with a vicious facial slap. The names of the two fans involved in the incident are unknown at this time, and it’s unclear if the Phillies’ supporter suffered any injuries. The Philadelphia Police Department told TMZ Sports, “We are asking the victim and anyone who may have knowledge of the incident to come forward.”

New York Yankees Are Rolling In The Second Half
The New York Yankees went on to defeat Philadelphia 6-5 on Wednesday to complete the three-game sweep. Aaron Boone’s squad is now on a five-game winning streak and just half a game behind the Baltimore Orioles for first in the AL East.
New York was slumping ahead of the All-Star break, leading to calls for the team to fire Boone and for GM Brian Cashman to make some blockbuster moves ahead of Tuesday’s trade deadline.
But with a weekend series win over the Boston Red Sox and a sweep of the NL leaders, the Yankees are back in business and look every bit like a World Series contender.
