Wander Franco has apparently gone missing in the Dominican Republic, with local police unable to find him.
A report from newspaper Listin Diario claims authorities raided two homes in search of the disgraced MLB star but did not find him and are none the wiser as it pertains to his whereabouts.
One of the homes belongs to Franco and the other is his mother’s. The police are said to have left contact information with his wife.
The shortstop has been under investigation by both DR police and the MLB since allegations of relationships with at least two underage teens popped up during the summer.
Per Dominican reporter Hector Gomez, there is “new evidence has been found in the case of Wander Franco that further implicates him in the accusations that have been made against him of alleged relationships with minors.”
The Tampa Bay Rays placed Franco on a leave of absence after the reports surfaced back in August, also removing him from ads and highlights while images of him in their stadium were taken down. It also appears that Franco merch has been pulled from team stores.

The MLB put him on administrative leave for the final 42 games of the season.
It is still unclear as to whether the cops wanted to question Franco or place him under arrest.
