Over the years, we have seen some extreme punishments when it comes to people finishing in last place of their fantasy football leagues.
Year after year, those who play and/or run fantasy football leagues are always looking for different ways to make their league unique and special.
San Francisco Giants play-by-play announcer Dave Flemming is certainly in one of those special leagues.
During San Francisco’s series opener against Tampa Bay, Flemming was made to serve for three innings as a bat boy. This came about because he finished in last place in his Fantasy Football League.
“Hey, there’s our bat boy. You know who that is? That’s Dave Flemming,” play-by-play announcer Duane Kuiper said. “Having the time of his life.”
“Looks like he’s having fun,” color commentator Mike Krukow added.

“He’s not gonna get a lot of rest,” Krakow said. “What, did he lose a bet or something?”
“You finish last in fantasy football, you gotta be a bat boy,” Kuiper explained.
The only thing we do not know is what the league was and if it involved players on the team.
As for the game, the Giants would get smashed at home by the Tampa Bay Rays by a score of 10-2. Tyler Catcher Christian Bethancourt homered and singled in a run to back Glasnow’s fourth straight winning decision, and the Tampa Bay Rays won their first game since placing All-Star shortstop Wander Franco on the restricted list over allegations he is in a relationship with a minor.
