Lewis Brinson, nor anybody else deserves this type of treatment.
Toward the end of Sunday afternoon’s game, a fan at Coors Field could be heard screaming the n-word at the Miami Marlins outfielder multiple times. It was so loud, it was caught on a hot mic and broadcasted over the airwaves.
Colorado has since released a statement.
“The Colorado Rockies are disgusted at the racial slur by a fan directed at the Marlins’ Lewis Brinson during the ninth inning of Sunday’s game. Although the subject was not identified prior to the end of the game, the Rockies are still investigating this incident,” the statement reads.
“The Rockies have zero tolerance for any form of racism or discrimination, and any fan using derogatory language of any kind will be ejected and banned from Coors Field.”

The only hope here is there was a alternate angle that caught that fan on camera so he could be banned for life.
The Rockies won Sunday’s game, defeating the Marlins, 13-8.
