On Tuesday, the Twins won their first postseason game since 2004. The following day, the Twins would win again over the Blue Jays, which was the first playoff series win since 2002.
Carlos Correa was instrumental in this happening.
Correa endured the worst hitting season of his career after signing the richest contract in Minnesota Twins history, but he showed them why he comes up clutch when it is postseason time.
Correa had an RBI single and an incredible tag on a pivotal pickoff throw from Sonny Gray, and the Twins swept the Toronto Blue Jays with a 2-0 win in Game 2 of the AL Wild Card Series on Wednesday.
Correa’s wife, Daniella Rodriguez, would soon be as viral as him after the game. Rodriguez took their two sons to Target Field to watch the game as the Twins punched their ticket to the American League Division Series.

The Twins advanced to play the defending World Series champion Astros, who Correa won a World Series with back in 2017. He spent seven seasons with the Astros.
He signed with Minnesota in 2022 and then re-signed for $200 million this year after agreed-to deals with the Giants and Mets fell apart over concern about an old ankle injury.
Game 1 of the best-of-five AL Division Series is in Houston on Saturday.
