BREAKING: New York Yankees Minor League Player Tests Positive For Coronavirus

The coronavirus has made its way to baseball.

After three players in the NBA tested positive for the coronavirus — Major League Baseball has now experienced their first player to test positive for it.

It came in the form of a minor league player.

A minor league player in the New York Yankees system has tested positive for coronavirus, sources tell ESPN. He is the first known case in baseball. He was quarantined Friday morning after saying he was running a fever.

Now, all players who have came in contact with him will have to be tested.
