Fans are understandably upset about the Houston Astros cheating scandal that has rocked the sport, but some of them have taken their hate of the team and the players way too far.
On Friday, Josh Reddick revealed that he and other members of the team have been receiving death threats since the conclusion of the MLB’s investigation.
Not only that, he stated he posted a video of his twins on social media and somebody wished cancer on them.
Reddick was pegged as one of three players who did not participate in the Astros’ trash can banging scheme. One look at his numbers and it will prove it.
But, he is on the team, so he’s going to be pegged as a cheater regardless. That’s where the heckling and disrespect should stop. Death threats and wishing illnesses on people over a game is ridiculous.
